Marzochhi Fork Adjustment

Please read this carefully if working on your front forks, and pay special attention to this procedure.

 We no longer recommend the replacement of the oil via the "capacity" method. There has been some problems relating to customers that do not remove the old oil completely. When the new oil is added, the result is a leg being overfilled.

This is the reason why we now suggest changing the oil using the "measurement" method as we describe below. (It's one that measures the empty space left between the oil and the top of the upper leg.)

We are certain that the best way to replace the oil in the forks is by using this procedure, and we recommend replacing the oil only via the measurement method. Using this measurement method, we can be assured that the correct amount of oil is being replaced inside the respective assemblies.

Maintenance of front suspension MARZOCCHI  ∆  40 mm. ALUMINIUM STANCHIONS 

1º - Disassemble the top cap of each suspension leg.

2º - Remove the spring.

3º - With the suspension compressed to its maximum and verifying that there is no air remaining in the system, fill the suspension with oil.

leaving an empty space of 160 mm. ± 2 mm.

4º - Re-assemble the system following the above procedure in reverse.
