The CNC RACE Trial caliper utilises the Braktec EVO design, developed during 2017 and recently used on the TRS GOLD.

New features have been added such as an optimised seal groove design, new 25mm seals with an auto-lubricated compound and hard anodised pistons with PTFE coating which altogether provides the new EVO Trial callipers with an ultra-smooth initial brake for a maximum rider feeling.

The body rigidity has been improved after several simulations, achieving a 5% weight reduction together with an increased resistance to the deformation.

Another key point is the behaviour of the calliper over mud, dust and wet environments, The new pad design provides a constant feeling and behaviour despite of the commonly hard and aggressive off road riding conditions.

The internal calliper design is a key point in order to achieve the brake feeling for the Trial application, which combines the need of a very smooth initial brake together with a fast and quick pressure build-up for an immediate stop.
