GASGAS Starter Relay.

Starting relay for GasGas models:

• EC 250-300 2T from 2011 to 2020
• FSE/FSR/SM/EC-F 250-300-400-450-515 4T from 2002 to 2015
• CONTACT TXT Trials 2016+

On a motorcycle starter relay, the letters B and M stamped next to the large brass terminal posts indicate where the high-current power cables must be connected:

• B stands for Battery: Connect the heavy-gauge positive (+) cable coming directly from your battery to this terminal.
• M stands for Motor: Connect the heavy-gauge cable leading to your starter motor to this terminal.

• Why matching them matters:

  While bridging the two posts will technically still activate the starter motor, mixing them up when wiring the bike can cause issues. On many modern relays, the B (Battery) post is internally bridged to the main fuses on the sides to feed continuous 12V power down to the ignition switch, dashboard, and the rest of the bike's electrical system. If you wire it backward, your bike's electronics may only receive power when the starter button is pressed.
