TRS Welcomes Dean Nuttall to the Victorian Distributor Team

The Hell Team is excited to announce that 2024 Australian Master Trial Champion Dean Nuttall has joined the TRS distributor network in Victoria.

For anyone involved in Australian trials, Dean Nuttall is a pretty familiar face.

A long-time TRS rider, competitor and passionate supporter of the sport, Dean has spent years riding, competing and living the trials lifestyle. Now he is taking that involvement a step further, joining TRS as a Victorian distributor.

And it’s fair to say that trials is a family affair in the Nuttall household.

Dean’s wife, Rachael, and daughter, Asha, are also TRS riders and competitors, with the family regularly out at events and involved in the Victorian and Australian trials scene. Between them, there’s plenty of riding experience, competition knowledge and first-hand experience of what makes a trials bike work when the going gets tough.

Dean’s own riding credentials speak for themselves. He claimed the 2024 Australian Master Trial Championship on a TRS and has been a committed TRS rider for many years.

For The Hell Team, bringing someone with that level of experience and passion into the distributor network was an easy decision.

“Dean has been part of the TRS family for a long time, so this really feels like a natural progression,” said Paul Arnott, owner of The Hell Team.

“He knows the bikes, he knows trials and, most importantly, he understands what riders are looking for because he’s out there doing it himself. Having Dean and the Nuttall family involved is a fantastic fit for TRS.”

More TRS support for Victorian riders

Dean’s appointment also strengthens the TRS network in Victoria, giving riders another local point of contact for new bikes, parts, advice and support.

Importantly, Dean’s arrival adds to the existing TRS presence in Victoria rather than replacing it.

Long-time TRS representative Greg Chalmers will continue to support TRS riders in Victoria, giving customers the benefit of having two experienced and passionate TRS people on the ground.

“We’ve been fortunate to have Greg representing TRS in Victoria and we’re very happy that he’ll continue to be part of the team,” said Paul.

“Greg has built strong relationships with riders over the years and we value that. Having Dean come on board simply gives us another passionate TRS person in Victoria and allows us to provide even more support to the trials community.”

For riders, that means more local knowledge, more experience and another familiar face within the TRS family.

Keeping trials in the family:

For Dean, the new role is about much more than selling motorcycles.

Trials has been a big part of the Nuttall family for years, and being able to help other riders enjoy the sport is a big part of what attracted Dean to the opportunity.

“I’ve been riding TRS for a long time and I genuinely love the bikes,” said Dean.

“Trials has always been a big part of our family. Rachael and Asha both ride and compete, so we’re usually talking about trials, riding trials or getting ready for the next event anyway!

“To now be able to help other riders get onto a TRS, whether they’re just starting out or chasing results, is something I’m really looking forward to.”

With Dean joining Greg in the Victorian network, TRS is continuing to build its presence in one of Australia’s strongest trials regions.

And with the Nuttalls already deeply embedded in the sport, it’s safe to say TRS is staying firmly in the family.
